As an avid traveler always in search of unique accommodations, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the George Centre in Matlock Bank. the location is truly unbeatable, with easy access to attractions such as Chatsworth House and Gulliver's Kingdom. the apartment itself was a delightful surprise, with a quirky charm that perfectly complemented the stunning views of the river Derwent and limestone valley. the Old Wine Vault, where we stayed, was cozy and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets below. Not only was the apartment beautifully decorated with high-quality furniture and decor, but it also offered all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchenette and a luxurious private bathroom with a refreshing shower. the George Centre exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect base for exploring Matlock and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing getaway in the heart of Derbyshire.
